At a fun-filled amusement park, Jasmin begs Mommy to go with her on The Monster, a huge roller coaster. Mommy convinces Jasmin to try some calmer rides instead. Finally, Mommy agrees to go on The Monster and ends up loving the ride, but Jasmin doesn't!

Emily's grandparents, visiting from Japan, come to Mrs. Hall's class to talk to the King School Kids about their country's customs, clothing, and toys. Their presentation excites the children and inspires them to express their appreciation in an especially fitting manner: they bow as they say goodbye.
